Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados, well cleaned and cut into pieces
- 100 g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 3-4 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup (depending on sweetness preference)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- Milk or plant-based beverage as needed (for the right consistency)
Preparation
- Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler until completely smooth and homogeneous.
- In the blender, combine the avocados, melted chocolate, honey or maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and the pinch of salt.
- Blend everything until you obtain a very creamy and smooth mixture. If it’s too thick, add a little at a time of milk or the plant-based alternative until you reach the desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Transfer the mousse into cups and let it cool in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
