Salmon Lasagna

Here is the recipe for Salmon Lasagna, a delicious dish that combines the tradition of lasagna with the delicacy of salmon. I will describe a classic version, but remember that you can always customize it to your tastes.

Ingredients

  • 250 g egg lasagna sheets (preferably fresh)
  • 400 g fresh salmon
  • 250 g ricotta
  • 200 ml cooking cream
  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g grated Parmesan
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 glass white wine
  • Chives (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. Start by preheating the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Clean the salmon by removing the skin and any bones, then cut it into cubes.
  3. In a pan, heat a little oil and add the chopped shallot until it becomes translucent. Add the salmon cubes and cook for a few minutes until it changes color.
  4. Deglaze the salmon with the white wine and let the alcohol evaporate. Add the cream, salt, and pepper, and cook for 5-10 minutes over medium-low heat.
  5. In a bowl, mix the ricotta with a little chopped chives (if you wish to add it), salt and pepper.
  6. Now proceed to assemble the lasagna: grease a baking dish with a little butter and arrange a layer of lasagna sheets on the bottom.
  7. Alternate a layer of salmon and cream with a layer of ricotta, and continue until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a thin layer of cream and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
  8. Place a few knobs of butter on the surface and bake for about 20-30 minutes, or until the lasagna is golden on top.

Once ready, let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This dish combines the bold flavor of salmon with the creaminess of ricotta and Parmesan for a rich and satisfying lasagna. You can also add sautéed spinach or sliced zucchini for a touch of vegetables. Enjoy!
