Apple and Cinnamon Cake

Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized apples
- 3 eggs
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g melted butter
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 small glass of milk
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Powdered sugar for decoration (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Preparation
- Start by preheating the oven to 180 °C.
- Peel the apples, remove the core and cut them into cubes or thin slices, then set them aside.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you obtain a light and frothy mixture.
- Add the melted butter (make sure it is not too hot) and the milk to the egg and sugar mixture, stirring well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
- Gently incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter.
- Add the apples to the mixture and stir gently to distribute them evenly.
- Grease and flour a cake pan, then pour the batter into the pan.
- Bake the cake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Once ready, let the cake cool before removing it from the pan.
- Before serving, you can dust the surface with powdered sugar for a touch of sweetness and decoration.
