17/11/2023Here is a simple and tasty recipe for making baked prawns, a dish that brings with it the taste of the sea and that can be served both as an appetizer and as a main course.
Ingredients
- 800 grams of prawns
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Fresh parsley to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Juice of one lemon
- Dry white wine (optional, about 100 ml)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- Clean the prawns, removing the head and shell leaving only the tail. Remove the black intestinal vein by making an incision on the back with a small knife.
- In a baking dish, arrange the cleaned prawns and slightly open their flesh.
- In a bowl, prepare a marinade with extra virgin olive oil, finely chopped garlic, chopped fresh parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. If you want to add a wine note, also incorporate the white wine.
- Pour the marinade over the prawns making sure it is well distributed.
- Let the marinated prawns rest for about 10-15 minutes so they absorb the flavors.
- Bake the prawns and cook them for about 10-12 minutes or until they turn a nice pink color and are lightly golden.
- Once ready, remove the prawns from the oven and serve immediately, accompanied by lemon wedges for those who wish to add an extra touch of acidity.
