Chicken Nuggets

Here is a basic recipe for preparing homemade chicken nuggets, in Italian style.

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 50 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Seed oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Start by cutting the chicken breast into pieces of about the same size.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the grated Parmesan and garlic powder.
  4. In a third bowl, pour the flour.
  5. Pass the chicken pieces first in the flour, then in the beaten egg and finally in the seasoned breadcrumbs, making sure they are well coated.
  6. Heat plenty of seed oil in a pan and, when hot, fry the nuggets until golden and crispy.
  7. Drain them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
  8. Serve them hot, accompanied by sauces of your choice such as ketchup, mayonnaise or barbecue sauce.

For an even more Italian version, you can add aromatic herbs like rosemary or oregano to the breadcrumbs.
