Sage and Almond Involtini

Ingredients
- 12 large fresh sage leaves
- 12 thin slices of chicken or turkey breast
- 50 g flaked almonds
- 100 g thinly sliced cured ham
- Flour, as needed
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper, as needed
- White wine for deglazing
Preparation
- Start by lightly pounding the chicken or turkey breast slices between two sheets of plastic wrap until they are flat and thin.
- Season the meat slices with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place a sage leaf on each slice and sprinkle with a few almond flakes.
- Add a slice of cured ham on top of each meat slice.
- Roll up the involtini and secure them with a toothpick.
