Smoked Salmon Rolls
17/11/2023Here is a simple and tasty recipe to prepare salmon rolls, an elegant and delicious appetizer.
Ingredients
- 200 g smoked salmon slices
- 100 g spreadable cheese (such as Philadelphia)
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill (or chives, to taste)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Black pepper to taste
- Slices of sandwich bread or bruschetta bread (optional)
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the spreadable cheese with the chopped dill and lemon juice until you obtain a smooth cream. Add a grind of black pepper and mix again.
- Lay the salmon slices on a work surface. If using bread, cut off the crust and flatten it with a rolling pin.
- Spread a thin layer of herb cheese on each salmon slice. If using bread, spread the cheese on the bread first and then place the salmon on top.
- Carefully roll each filled salmon slice, forming tight rolls.
- Cut the rolls into pieces about 2-3 cm long, if desired, and arrange them on a serving plate.
- You can garnish the rolls with a bit of fresh dill or chopped chives and a light dusting of black pepper before serving.
