Ingredients

  • 350 g smooth penne
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 yellow bell peppers
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 garlic clove

  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  1. Clean the bell peppers by removing the stem, seeds, and inner white membranes, then cut them into pieces.

  2. In a skillet, sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic in extra virgin olive oil until they become translucent.

  3. Add the bell pepper pieces and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until softened.
