- 50 g sugar
- 50 ml sunflower seed oil
- 50 ml milk
- 150 g 00 flour
- 1/2 packet baking powder

Preparation
-
Start by preheating the oven to 180 °C and greasing and flouring a 24 cm round springform pan.
-
Prepare the pumpkin batter by mixing the pumpkin puree with the sugar and oil. Add the eggs one at a time, incorporating well each time. Add the flour sifted with the baking powder, the cinnamon if you want a spicy touch, and a pinch of salt. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
-
For the chocolate batter, melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave and let it cool slightly. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a light and frothy mixture. Add the oil, milk, and melted chocolate. Finally, incorporate the flour sifted with the baking powder and a pinch of salt.
-
Pour the pumpkin batter into the pan first, then gently layer the chocolate batter on top. To create a marbled effect, you can run a toothpick or the tip of a knife through the batters with circular motions.
-
Bake the cake and cook it for about 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
-
Let the cake cool slightly before removing it from the pan and serving.
